Phonics

This week the students are revising the letters Mm and Dd. They have practised writing the letters correctly, looked for words that have the letters in them and put some of the words in sentences, both orally and in written form. Some children are constructing their own sentences too.

Art with artist Truc Truong

This term we will be completing four workshops with resident artist Truc Troung. This week we created a collaborative painting and started decorated our own moon lanterns.

 

Dance

This week we created and presented our own dance routines.

 

Rhyme Time

This week we focused on rhyming ‘it’ words.

 

Science

This week we learnt about the movement of spinning.

Math

We started to explore measurement in Math this week. We identified the ‘longest’ and ‘shortest’ strips of paper.
