1.What are some of the benefits of population growth

The benefits of more people in Australia is that there will be more jobs. Which means there will be more business and that means more houses and more buildings.

2.What are some of the challenges of population growth

The challenges are that we will need more schools because the schools won’t be big enough for all the new people and. More people be drinking water and we won’t have enough water for the future.

3.Do you think Australia’s population should grow or stay the same size? Explain your answer

I think that are population should keep growing because their will be more jobs and people will have more money to provide for their family and. Their will be more  business which means more people will be working.

Guided Reading Week 8- Plastic Free Boy

1.How is plastic pollution having a negative impact on animals and our environment?

Plastic is hurting our environment because when we litter the plastic get blown in to the sea and fish can think that they are jelly fish.

2. How many tonnes of plastic end up in the ocean?

Every year 8 million tonnes of plastic end up in the ocean.

3. What can you do to help the environment?

We can put are rubbish in the bin to help so it does not end up in the sea

Guided Reading Week 7- Dingos

1.Explain some difference between dingoes and dogs

The difference between dingoes and dogs are that dogs bark and dingoes howl and a dog can be thought tricks But dingoes can’t.

2. Why are dingoes sometimes a ‘pest’ for some farmers?

Dingoes can be found as a pest for some farmers because they can some times attack animals like sheep.

3. What Australian state do you NOT find dingoes in?

Dingoes are native to Australia but dingoes can not be found in Tasmania.

How being in a group help’s. Being in a group helps because if you don’t know a question your partner can help you with the question and if you don’t know how to write or say a number your partner can help you with saying that number and you can work together to find out a question that you guys both don’t know. You can help your partner with questions that they don’t know too.

A Ornithologist studies eyes

2. Briefly explain how monocular vision works

Monocular vision is when someone is short sighted. Short sighted means you can’t see things that are far away and long sited is the opposite

3. How does having eyes on either side of its head help lizards

A lizard might have two eyes on each side so it can see if a another animal is going to eat it

Investigations week 5

Today I made slime in investigation I needed to put these things to make some slime. I needed borax to make the slime lumpy and not a liquid and I put in soap. To make it smell nice but I had a problem. I put in to much borax and it was to watery and the liquid went every were.
