Welcome to Term 4 Music!

This term, all students will be learning about Boomwhackers! Each coloured Boomwhacker represents a note in the musical scale and when played together or struck on the floor, they produce musical tones. Students will explore how to create different sounds, harmony and rhythms using Boomwhackers (as pictured).

Each class has had a go at playing the Boomwhackers and have each been impressed by these tuned percussion tubes! The students are excited to learn more as the term progresses.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS MUSIC FESTIVAL

choir

Congratulations to our Festival Choir who performed at the Festival Theatre on Tuesday the 27th September!

What a fabulous way to finish off term 3! The show was a spectacular showcase of talent in Catholic schools and our students were wonderful representatives of Holy Family! I was beaming with pride throughout the entire show – what a fantastic celebration of all the hard work and dedication each student has put in over the year.  It was great to see the level of commitment and enthusiasm shine through on the night.
