Sports Presentation Assembly

Morning all,

This Friday we will be acknowledging all of the students that participated in sporting carnivals in 2019. We have had a large increase in participation this year with students ranging from Year 3 to 6.

We will be rewarding students for fantastic achievements in sport with certificates and medals. We will also present a MVP medal to students who have excelled in numerous sporting carnivals.

We welcome families who can make it down to support their children as many of you parents have supported these children through volunteering their time to supervise at carnivals and also covering carnival fees to pay for buses.

We look forward to seeing you all Friday 9am.

Year 2 Come and Try Carnival

We couldn’t have had asked for a better opportunity for all of our Year 2s to experience their first sporting carnival.
Last Wednesday we took all four Year 2 classes to Park 25 in the city for a Come and Try day for national PE week. Students had the opportunity to try a range of activities over 4 different sessions. Some of the sports on offer were cricket, rugby league and union, lacrosse, taekwondo, golf, tennis, ultimate frisbee and a range of student leader activities.
All the students had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity represent the school in an external event. Special thanks to Rita, Jo, Jake and Paul for collecting consent forms and organising the 10 parents that come along to help us.
Fantastic group effort by all!
Once again thanks to all the parents who come along to support us, this wouldn’t be able to happen without your support.
