Dear families,

This Friday 27th of May, children are asked to bring in a can of food – this could be a can of soup, a can of vegetables or a can of any other non-perishable goods.  These will be donated to Fred’s Van, a local volunteer service that provides meals to those less fortunate through the St Vincent de Paul Society.

Week 5 (next week) is Mission Week here at Holy Family.  It is a week where we reflect on the mission of Jesus – to help those in need.  As a way to celebrate this, students will participate in ‘Mission Day’ on Friday the 3rd of June.  Children and their teachers set up class stalls and sell a product or service to the rest of the school (please note there will not be any food or drink stalls due to COVID-19 restrictions).

1NP and 1SD will be making ‘jars of love’ to sell on Mission Day.  Thank you to the families who have already provided us with their recycled glass jar with a lid.  We will be making our products at the end of this week, so please feel free to send your recycled jar with your child if you haven’t already done so.
