Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to inform you about our busy week ahead as we come to an end of Term 3!

For 1NP, we have our buddy Assembly with 4DF on Thursday the 29th of September at 9am in the Hall. If you are unable to come see it, we will be recording it and emailing the link to all 1NP parents when it becomes available.

For both 1NP and 1SD we finish the week with a bang! On Friday the 30th of September, we have Sports Day in the morning and finish with a really exciting event, the Colour Splatacular School Fun Run!

Below are the teams the students are in and what colour team that is. It is encouraged that students also bring an additional white shirt to school so we can really see the bright colours during the run.

I have also included below the timetable for Sports Day and the Colour Splatacular School Fun Run.

Hello Everyone,

I am Miss Alicia Burdon and as you already know I will be replacing Ms Nadia Pinneri as the 1NP classroom teacher for the remainder of the year while Ms Pinneri fills in a leadership position at the school.

First of all, I would like to apologise for the delay in communication. Unfortunately, over this weekend just gone I became really unwell and was unable to do much. However, I am back and ready to go!

This is my second year at Holy Family where I have previously worked in various roles such as; one of the school librarians, a relief teacher, a classroom teacher and as an OSHC worker within the school. Due to this, the students and I already know each other well. As such, the transition between Ms Pinneri and myself as the classroom teacher should be reasonably smooth.

While I am stepping into some incredibly huge shoes to fill, I assure you that I will continue to provide the same warm, welcoming environment you have come to know.

Miss Dowsett and I are continually planning for the successful learning of the students in our year 1 classes.

Over the next coming week, I plan to either meet with you or call you before or after school so I can personally touch base with you that way you have an opportunity to voice any concerns, ask any questions or share any information about your child.
