Students showed great resilience when creating origami houses in recognition of the letter h.

To reinforce the letter r students developed their fine motor skills and created shape robots. The robots are all different and amazing. Great work receptions.
Health and Safety
Today we explored what safe and unsafe means and explored different scenarios that can make us feel certain ways.
We read the story ‘Franklin in the Dark’ and talked about some ways the characters made themselves feel safe.
Students then had the opportunity to draw and share when they feel safe.
Play Investigations
Maths and patterns
Maths mini
The children are developing their number writing formation and matching the numbers to amounts when using a dice.
Technologies
The students used pipe cleaners today to practise and demonstrate their fine motor skills of twisting, turning and weaving pipe cleaners to create an object that they had planned. There were ice creams, bees, people and all kinds of wondrous things.
Have great long weekend!
