Today the students listened to ‘The Annunciation’ from Luke’s Gospel. We discussed how Mary would have felt when the angel appeared, why God might have chosen Mary and why the angel told Mary not to be afraid. The students drew their representation of the event and reflected on what happened in the gospel story.
