Monday’s activity: Words with at in them.

Tuesday’s activity: Words with ng in them

Keeping Safe

Today the children revised their Trust Networks.

Students thought about a person who may or may not be on their network. They created a wall of trust – listing qualities of that person that make them trustworthy.

Maths

Today we worked on our subitising skills. Some children worked with a partner and played a board game by matching the dots and others worked in pairs on subitising dots and objects.

Subitising  –  looking at dot patterns for a short period of time.  You might like to try this at home.

The children played subitising games.

Design and Technology

The children worked in small groups to share their ideas and design a Christmas Pageant float.

English and Rhyme Time

Today we read the book Tabby McTat and looked for rhyming words.

HASS and Toys (old and new)

The children played with some ‘old’ toys (and many that Mrs Martin brought from her home.)

Book making

Here are some page samples from our books, composed by our reception students.
