Hello students and families! Welcome to Week 8!

Mr S was back today and we were so excited to tell him all about our amazing performance on Friday. Mrs Pinneri and Mr Slater also visited us this morning to congratulate the students on their efforts!

This morning we had play based investigations. Students enjoyed lantern making so much in the lead up to assembly that we had a lantern making table as well as insect making table, tying in with our learning about living things.

After recess today we learnt all about our next letter and sound ‘r’. We brainstormed the following list of words that begin with r!

What a fantastic effort today! Pencil grip and posture was our focus. We have also noticed an improvement with stamina and how much students can accomplish in this lesson. Some amazing work by RSA and RKS…

Today we also did some Writer’s Workshop. To get us thinking about what to write we read the story ‘Just One More’ by Tracey Corderoy. In the story, Little Brown Bunny always wants just one more book at bedtime. When there are no more stories left, he makes his own super-long bedtime book so the story will last all night. He has a lot of help with creative ideas for his story from his friends.
