Week 9: Wednesday 21st September

What a lovely day in RSA and RKS! Green choices have been on show with lots more clever communication skills displayed today. We began our day with Literacy Investigations and had an opportunity to explore the following activities.

After recess our classes did Drama and Science. For Drama our acting skills were on show in the hall. We acted out different stories and rhymes such as Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill (RKS) as well as Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Gingerbread Man (RSA).

For Science students continued their learning about living things; moving from animals to plants. We planted a seed and recorded what we did in our seed journal. With the right care, we can’t wait to see if our pea seeds sprout!

As we near the end of term, we have a few tired and weary students in class… with 3 even falling fast asleep yesterday during inside lunch play. Early nights and/or early pick ups are both great ways to tackle the end of term exhaustion!

Hope you have a wonderful end to the week,

Mrs Sharman 🙂

Reminder

Tomorrow is a Public Holiday for the National Day of Mourning for Her Majesty The Queen. Therefore there will be no school. Mrs A and Mr S will see you Friday!
