We started our day by viewing an Assembly all about Christmas Elves visiting some classrooms.

During numeracy, we moved onto a new area of learning. We are looking at the concept of time. Our learning intention is: to sequence times of the day including morning, lunchtime, afternoon and night time, and connect them to familiar events and actions.

We were successful if we could:

• sort some activities into if we do them in the day or at night
• cut and glue the pictures independantly

.

Inquiry time provides opportunities to develop the children’s personal and social skills. They also need to be utilising their critical and creative capabilities.
