Welcome everyone to another great Thursday in RSA and RKS. Today’s focus is to play with a new friend. It was amazing to see all the students trying to play with someone they don’t normally play with in play-based investigation.

After Recess we had a Whole School Mass again. The kids were amazing at being respectful during the hour-long service.

After lunch we continued to work on learning with our new friends. Everyone did an amazing effort to play with someone new and can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow.

Welcome everyone back to RSA and RKS after the three-day break. It was lovely to see everyone was well rested and ready to learn in class today.

We started off the day with shared reading then a little fruit-break. It is amazing to see all the fruit and vegetables in the student’s lunch boxes. We love hearing all the students telling us what their favourite fruit is. After our fruit-break we went into play-based investigation where students are getting more creative with their drawings and buildings.

Today was MUDLA day, where the students continue to investigate the animals in the MUDLA and what helps living things survive.

After recess, the students had numeracy rotations. They continued to investigate numbers from 1 to 10 and started to investigate numbers from 11 – 20.

After Lunch, everyone was exhausted. So, we had relaxation where students did quite drawing, reading or meditating.

All the students are improving every day and are starting to understand the routines of school.

Just a couple of reminders that next Friday we have book week where students can dress up as their favourite book characters

We also have a School disco coming up

Finally, A note has been sent out to every student about school photos. If that could be returned ASAP that would be amazing!

Welcome back everyone to another eventful day in RSA and RKS. We began the day with some quit reading before heading into our investigation.

The students got to play with new building blocks where they worked together to make houses.

We had a couple of the boys create a highway through the whole classroom!!

After Recess we had a whole School Mass where the students were so respectful and listen to the whole ceremony.

After lunch, the weather turned for the worse. But we still had fun in mindfulness where we had quite drawing and reading.

Another fantastic day in RKS and RSA! We are so proud of each in every one of them for being such respectful listeners in Mass.

Welcome everyone to another jampacked day in RKS and RSA. We started off the day with some shared reading with our friends. Then continued investigating fruit and vegetables in our brain break. We love seeing so much colour in students lunch boxes.

We then got into some play-based investigation where students are using teamwork and imagination to create interesting structures and artwork. Check out a couple of them below!

The students went to the MUDLA to further investigate the living animals. Where they had to draw and find different animals in the MUDLA.

After recess we started our numeracy investigation. The students investigated in groups, different ways to find the value of numbers using unifixes, Dice and cotton balls.

After lunch, We continued creating our own books in writer’s workshop where the students use their own imagination to create a story.

We have another busy day tomorrow,
So students rest up ready to learn for another exciting day full of fun.

Another fantastic Thursday full of learning and investigation. Our day began with a lot of amazing sharing and collaboration to create awesome artwork in Play Investigation.

After recess we had two lessons. The first lesson RSA went off to P.E. to run off some extra energy while RKS stayed in the classroom to learn our letter of the day, ‘A’. In the second lesson we switched over where RKS went for P.E. and RSA enjoyed learning the letter ‘A’ in the classroom.

After lunch, everyone was exhausted. So, we had some relaxion time and mindfulness before the students went off and investigated further through their play.

Can every student please pack one piece of fruit or vegetable for the students to eat in brain-break.

Welcome everyone to Tuesday, the second week of term in RSA and RKS.
We had a busy day playing with our friends and learning to count with the dice. We began the day with some shared reading where the students read their new library books to their friends.

After recess the students had fun rolling the dice and connecting number values to their symbols. Cheek them out!!

We finished our day off with quite drawing and relaxation after our busy day of learning.

All the students are showing promising steps in their numeracy skills and can’t wait to see all their happy faces tomorrow.
