Friday (Term 2 | Week 10)

Welcome to Friday – the final day of Term 2!

It is also Braiden’s birthday in the holidays, so today we sang Happy Birthday and gave him SIX big claps. We wish him an awesome day on 14 July.

VR FRIDAY
Today another 10 students, 5 from R1JH and 5 from R1MP, had an opportunity to try out VR (Virtual Reality). The ten lucky students were slicing fruits with ninja swords!

After a classroom clean up, we headed over to the centre (as the oval was too wet for fitness) and played two fun games – The Peg Game and Evolution. Lots of laughter.

Mrs Hong Nguyen works with some children in class throughout the term. Today she kindly took the children she works with to the OHSC room and made pancakes with them as an end of term treat.

We said goodbye to Deanna today, who is moving house and has to start a new school in a different area of Adelaide. Micky wasn’t in school today, so sadly we couldn’t say goodbye to him, as he is moving Inter-State to Victoria on Sunday. Nevertheless we wish him the very best of luck at his new school and for his new start in Melbourne. Go well, Micky and Deanna.
