Week 10 and 11

Our last 2 weeks of school have been very busy. We have enjoyed watching presentations from each class in the school for Holy Week. Our iMovie of ‘Washing of the Feet’ was presented on Thursday in Week 10. Our Maths skills are flourishing as we work on facts of 10 and 20 and explore skip counting in various ways. We have learnt about how to keep ourselves safe in Health learning about warning signs and creating our own safety plans. We have explored the past and present for History and worked on our performance skills in Drama. And so much more…

Over the last two weeks we have finished our Writer’s Workshop stories and practised our editing skills. We used a writing checklist to make sure we included capital letters for names and at the start of our sentences, added full stops to the end of our sentences, used clear finger spaces, checked spelling and made sure our stories sounded right. We have some amazing authors here in 1SA and 1EJ!

It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you all over the past term, and we are very lucky to share each day with the amazing students of 1SA and 1EJ. We hope your school holidays are filled with family time, fun, rest and play!

We look forward to seeing you all next term as we continue our learning adventures in class.

Take care,

Rochelle, Emily and Jess
