Continue working on your amazing bookmaking skills. If you have a book from last week that you haven’t finished, you can keep working on that. You could also write a new story using your 6- and 7-year-old writing. Think about some of your favourite books for inspiration.
Remember to use your Brave Spelling
You might have some old books from Year 1 that you can have an adult or brother, or sister help you tear unused pages out from, and make your own new books.
We will share some of our books when we come back to school, so make sure to keep them in a safe space.
Can you keep the pattern going? Draw it in your books or on paper.
Have a go at creating your own ABB patterns. Create at least 3 more of your own. You could use fruit, shapes, colours, animals or any other objects that you can think of.

Task: Make your own shape and colour patterns. Be creative and challenge yourself. Make sure you have a go at creating more than 1 pattern.

Today we are going to start some mindfulness breathing exercises. We will continue doing this when we are all back in the classroom.

At the end of most days during online learning, we will finish with a drawing tutorial.
We will try a different drawing each day. Sometimes it might be a bit tricky, but that’s okay! We want you to try your best, have fun and be creative. We are looking forward to seeing some of your drawings when we return to school.

Think about all of the different things that you can write books about.
Can you create a list or collage of the things that you like to write about?
When you have finished this, continue working on your bookmaking. You can choose to start a new book, or you can begin a new book with a topic of your choice.

Story/Reading
Today we are going to watch and listen to the story “How Are You/Comos estas”
This story links to our Spanish learning. Listen for any words that you may have already learnt, and have a practice of them.
When the story is finished, please answer the following question:
“How are you/Comos estas?” Write and/or draw your response to the question how are you?
Once you have watched the video, have a go at writing the skip counting by 2’s number sequence starting from 0. I have given you the first 4 numbers below:
0, 2, 4, 6, …
How much further can you write? Can you make it all the way to 100? Can you go further?
When you’ve completed this task, have a go at completing the following sequences. Please write the sequences into your books or on your paper that you are completing your learning on and fill in the blanks.
When you have completed this, have a go at the number sequences below. Make sure you read the numbers carefully and look for the pattern. These sequences don’t skip count by 2!
