In science we have been learning about adaptations. Today we have been learning about key vocabulary that we will explore this unit and that will help us with our learning. Some of these words included adaptation, mutation, ecosystem, organism, structural, behavioural, physiological, herbivore, carnivore and omnivore. We also worked in small groups to look at the structural adaptations of specific animals and what they have that help them survive and thrive in their environment.
