If your child is in year 1 or above next year, then they are able to learn an instrument at school. Information and enrolment booklets are available now; you can pick up a copy from the school office or music teacher. Please try to send the enrolment form back before the end of this year so that teachers can be organised for next year. Please note that if your child is already learning an instrument at school and wishes to continue in 2016, an enrolment form still needs to be completed for the new year.
You may like to choose one of the following – violin, recorder, drums, singing, flute (subject to enrolment numbers), saxophone, classical guitar, piano or keyboard. (Year ones may only choose from the instruments in bold.)
This is the main intake for the new year and waiting lists may apply if you delay. Don’t miss out on giving your child the gift of music. Please click on the link below for the 2016 enrolment booklet and enrol now!
My sister Kushi is having guitar classes there you
know.
Hi Sukhi,
The guitar is such a great instrument to learn! I am sure that your sister enjoys her lessons very much.
I would like to enroll Lloyd in the classical guitar classes next year. Can you please send me all the info.
Thanks
Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much for getting in contact. If you click on the blue link titled ‘2016 Instrumental Music’ at the bottom of the above post, you will be able to download the pdf version of our 2016 enrolment form for instrumental music lessons. This form contains relevant information including tuition, fees and instrument hire that you might be interested in. You can print this form, fill it out at home and return it to the school office (the sooner the better as places for next year are filling quickly). Alternately, you could come into the school to pick up an enrolment form. Once your form has been submitted, the guitar teacher will give you a call before lessons are due to commence next year to discuss his lesson requirements, what days he will be teaching next year and answer any further questions you may have.
I hope that this information helps you – please feel free to email me at kristine.rebeiro@holyfamily.catholic.edu.au or come in and see me at the school if you have any further questions.
Thank you,
Kristine Rebeiro
