Hi families,
Over the past few weeks we have been working hard on our living things diorama’s and they are finally finished!
We are so proud of the children’s creativity and resilience to complete them.

Hi Families,
Yesterday in maths we used the clocks to practice telling the time. We discovered that the big hand points to the six when it is a half past time!

Hi Families,
This week we have returned all library books. If your child has some of their own books at home, we encourage students to bring them into school for reading time. Students can bring their own books in their black reader bags.
Thanks, Maria & Claudia
If you are learning from home you may like to watch the story we are reading for Library this week.

Hi Families,
Today we continued making our living things diorama’s. We are almost finished and will be posting pictures of our work soon!
If you are learning from home today, try using an old shoe box to create a diorama for a new living thing.

Hi Families,
Today in numeracy we learnt about the different ways to make 10. We used two different colour flip tiles to discover number sums that add up to 10.
If you are learning from home today, write down the different number sums that add up to 10. You can use counters or buttons to help you!
Example: 4+6= 10

Mindfulness Activities
Dear families,
As a class every afternoon we use mindfulness as a time to calm down and breathe. All mindfulness activities are of course optional. We hope they help your child to take a break and relax during this challenging time.

While you listen to the meditation music you may like to find a quiet space to:
– Colour in
– Draw
– Lay down and relax
