LITERACY
We revised our sounds today (including the new sound that was introduced yesterday o) and practised writing the letter o. Afterwards, each student read book or two with their teacher.
NUMERACY
The students were introduced to Rainbow of 10. This activity is great for learning the number pairs that add to 10. Number bonds are the building blocks of a lot of more complex maths strategies, so strong foundational knowledge of them is important.
We warmed up with a flip tile activity and making different combinations of 10 and then the students wrote a number sentence to match their flip tiles.
