Mrs Handforth read the story for the second time this week and the children were asked to listen for and identify rhyming words in the text.
Literacy Investigations
Some students practised writing their names this morning and played literacy games. Others worked on their cvc words, drew the mermaid or wrote sentences about the mermaid from the story The Singing Mermaid.
