Book Making
The children continued with their books this morning with the intention of finishing them. We cannot wait to read them all and share them with you.
Maths Mini
The activity today was listening to instructions and counting on (collecting objects) and taking away. The children were up and about collecting objects and listening very carefully to the teacher’s instructions. At the end of the activity each child had nothing left to count!!
Play Investigations
Gingerbread People
This morning four students helped Mrs Handforth make some mixture for gingerbread. We’ve been measuring gingerbread people in Numeracy and read the traditional tale last week, so this seemed like a good time to make some treats. This afternoon everyone got to decorate and eat (or take home) their own gingerbread person.
Fitness
After decorating the Gingerbread Men we headed to the oval area for some fresh air and exercise.
