Shared Reading
Mrs Papillo read It’s Mine (narrative) and Prehistoric Reptiles (information text) with her group this morning. Both texts were lift the flap bookstand the students were invited to use this feature in their books too.

Writer’s Workshop
The children continued with their writing this morning after Mrs Handforth and Mrs Papillo had shared lift the flap books with their group.
Numeracy
Mrs Papillo introduced bar graphs to the children. The children then agreed on a colour for each season and were invited to colour a square in for the colour of their favourite season. The squares were turned into a bar graph to show which season is the most, least favourite amongst the students in our class.
Play Investigations
Mrs Papillo and Mrs Handforth listened to students reading whilst the class chose activities and provocations to explore.
