Monday Investigations

This morning we listened to the story, ‘I’m Australian Too’ by Mem Fox. The students reflected and during investigations were provided with the opportunity to make meaning from the text. For example, students explored our Australian provocation where they participated in dot painting, created flags from around the world, researched the globe, used ICT to research Australian animals, used clay to explore their interests in making Australia’s Spinifex Hopping Mouse and used loose parts to make food from around the world- students made pizza using paper andΒ  Yasha used logs to make Sushi!Β  Students also explored a range of other provocations created to meet their interests πŸ™‚

We were very fortunate to have our friends from the ELC join us for investigative play and Mass song practice!
