Friday (Term 1 | Week 4)

It’s Friday! Here’s our learning for the final day of Week 4:

ASSEMBLY
Today it was the turn of 5/6EH and 5/6MS to present assembly. This was a movie extravaganza, featuring lots of songs, movie clips and quizzes. It was a high energy assembly, engaging its audience with familiar characters and sound tracks.

BUDDIES

We spent some time on the playground with our little buddies today before helping them to borrow and reading with them in their library lesson. Here’s 3JH helping out their little buddies in the library.

MATHEMATICS: PAT TEST

After recess, we sat a MATHEMATICS test on our laptops. PAT stands for Progressive Achievement Test. We sit an English (Reading Comprehension) and a Mathematics test in Term 1, which gives our teachers data, letting them know where we are in our learning. Our teachers then use this data to inform teaching and learning. Then we resit the same test in Term 3 to show how much we have grown and learned over the intervening weeks and months. We will sit a READING test on Monday.
