Welcome to a rather wet and damp  Thursday in Parafield Gardens – my goodness how the rain came down today! But it didn’t dampen our spirits in Rooms 7 and 8, as we carried on with our awesome learning ….

Today is the last day of April! Athian told us it will be the first day of May tomorrow.

Some students finished their Story Maps this morning, including pictures and details from the story The Smartest Giant In Town.

Tomorrow these students will be using their visual story maps to recount the events of the story in sequential order – some in writing and some orally. here are the finished story maps:

The students played Make 10 with a deck of cards this afternoon before heading off to work on addition using dice and recording their learning in their journals.
