We say a big HELLO to our friends who remain in isolation and hope to see you soon. We look forward to seeing some pictures of your home learning if you would like to send them in.

SHARED WRITING
With the children’s help, Mrs Handforth composed a postcard from Sunny the Meerkat to his Nana. We used Joshua’s picture of a desert setting as a provocation for our ideas.

• Yasha suggested the adjective MAGMA to describe the heat of the desert sun.
  
• We decided on alliterative names for the meerkats that Sunny met. Thanks to Abel and Ariana for the names Mojo Meerkat and Marissa Meerkat.

The children then continued to work on their postcards from yesterday.

NUMERACY

The students reflected on the clocks they made yesterday. The discussed these as a group and then wrote individual reflections.
