English  – word study

Today, we learned the ng sound.

Maths and mapping

We ventured out to the yard today to have a look around and observe where objects are in the yard.  The children drew a map of the school when they returned to the classroom.

HASS and Geography

This afternoon the children listened to a traditional Thai tale called The Cicada and the Ant.  We looked at a map of Thailand and related it to Australia.
