English | Book Making
Today the children looked at the books in our classroom library and sorted the picture/story books from the books we call information books. The children shared something about the books they were investigating.
Information books have:
Alice: photographs and pictures.
Imogen: diagrams.
Olivia: the diagrams have words next to them (labels).
Mantaj: Big and bold writing (headings).
Zachary: they tell us things we do not know.

Assembly preparation
We have been busily making props for our assembly next week. This afternoon, the children were making suns, moons and clouds for a song we will perform at assembly.
