Good morning everyone.  This week is a BIG week for our RMP class because we are very close to our assembly which is coming up this Thursday and Friday. There are some adjustments to our regular timetable due to rehearsals and preparations.

Shared Reading: Mo Willems and The Duckling Gets a Cookie!?

Mrs Papillo read another delightful story this morning.  Yes, the pigeon was in the story too…  Rose mentioned at the end of the story that it is important to be polite and use your manners. So true Rose but we know the Pigeon always wants something and he doesn’t always use his manners!

Word study and writing:

The children were asked to look for 2 words we often read in our books: and / the by looking around the classroom or in a class library book. The children wrote the words and we constructed a sentence together with both words in it.

Assembly Rehearsal 

The children did an amazing job today with the help of our big buddies. Tomorrow will be a full rehearsal in preparation for the big day on Thursday.
