Home Learning | Monday 26/7/21 | Term 3 | Week 2

Welcome to Monday’s Home Learning

IMPORTANT!

1) Lessons and activities may be completed in any order and whenever is convenient for you and your child. Your child has regular breaks and play times at school. We encourage you to provide fitness breaks, walks and free play opportunities in between learning sessions.

2) We ask that you keep your child’s learning in a safe place (such as a work book or a folder) to bring into school when he/she returns to school. Alternatively, you may wish to send me a photograph of their learning by email.

Tommy

Tommy says: ‘Good morning boys and girls, I hope you have a great day.’

Good morning everyone, hope that you are all well this morning and ready for a song / dance.

Morning prayer:

What is the weather like outside today?

Draw and write in your Home Learning Book – what you can see outside? What words can you write to describe the weather?

Here are some pictures and words to help you record the weather.

Many athletes have travelled to Tokyo, Japan to participate in the Olympic Games.  Here are some sports that you may know:

Which sport do you think you would be good at if you were an athlete?

Mrs Papillo thinks she would be good at hockey.  I was good at hockey when I was younger!

What character strengths do you think the sportsmen and women will need to participate in the events at the games? Have a look at the chart below with an adult and choose some together. What are your character strengths?

Here is a picture of the city of Tokyo. Can you find out the name of the mountain in the back ground of the image? Draw the mountain and name/write it  in your learning book.
