Wonderful Wednesday in R1MR & RHA
Come read with me this morning was wonderful with students having the choice to read with friends or do some mindful drawing to start the day.
Our Calendar
From the calendar today, we noticed:
Owen – It’s laptop day today because there is an apple on the calendar.
Kunal – Today is donut day!
Kevin – Sports day is in Week 6.
Alexis – Today is donut day and bike day.
Bior – 4 more days until Eann’s birthday.
Esrom – Today is Wednesday November 4th.

Today for our shared text we listened to some more Nursery Rhymes. Our favorite was Hickory Dickory Dock.
We pointed out the rhyming words and thought of some ideas that we could change the words to these classic rhymes to. Clock and Dock are the rhyming words at the start of the Nursery Rhyme, we thought of “Tick TOCK” and “Knock KNOCK”!
Literacy Rotations and Bookmaking
Today, RHA had a range of different activities to work on fine motor skills, letter and word formation. R1MR had some book making time.
