Drama – The Three Little Pigs

Today we read the story of the three little pigs.

Then Miss Burden and I acted the story out using the plush characters. We talked about using facial expression and different tone in our voice to tell a story.

The children were then asked to sit in a learning space in a group of 4. As a group the children were asked to talk about what character were they going to be in the story (The three little pigs) and how were they going to make the characters (puppets, plates, cups etc)

Then the prop preparation began, which then moved into the story telling/acting out phase. The children did a fantastic job working in groups and retelling this familiar story.
